Avik Ray, Brigham and Women’s Hospital

Avik Ray is a medical doctor with expertise in pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics, blending his passions for patient care, population health, data science, and healthcare management. During his residency in pharmaceutical medicine, Avik led large-scale observational studies and clinical trials, culminating in over 40 scientific publications in renowned journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine and The Lancet. His research has been cited more than 3,500 times, reflecting its significant impact on the field. Currently a postdoctoral research fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School, Avik focuses on real-world evidence analysis of medicines and vaccines, providing critical insights for treatment guidelines and health policies.
