Perry Nielsen Jr is a Stanford Biodesign Policy Fellow and soon-to-be graduate of Stanford’s Master’s in Health Policy program. Combining expertise as a technical policy analyst with a passion for patient advocacy, his work focuses on advancing the translation of medical innovation into affordable, patient-centered healthcare models. As a researcher at Stanford Graduate School of Business, Perry has contributed to studies on artificial intelligence in healthcare and private payer complexity and advises on a computable contracting project at Stanford Law School. He also founded and served as President of the Vaden Student Health Advisory Committee, driving improvements in the quality and accessibility of campus health resources through collaboration with university leadership. Perry holds a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Florida.
