Anna-Lena Brecher is a health scientist and public health doctoral candidate at the Hannover Medical School – Institute of Epidemiology, Social Medicine and Health Systems Research. Her current research, funded by the German Innovation Fund, examines international success factors of the digital transformation of healthcare systems and develops policy recommendations for Germany. She has previously worked at the Institute for Applied Health Services Research and at McKinsey & Company. Anna-Lena holds a Bachelor of Science in Movement and Health from the Justus Liebig University Giessen and a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Applied Sciences Mittelhessen. Her master’s thesis focused on the use of reimbursable digital therapeutics in general practice.
