Brooke Istvan, Stanford University

Brooke is a health policy consultant to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She also serves as a Healthcare Innovation Research Manager at Stanford. Brooke spent time at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation Center and the Center for Medicare in addition to McKinsey and Company where she served healthcare clients from payers to providers. She is passionate about improving healthcare market competition and making healthcare better and more accessible for all. Brooke has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business where she was president of the GSB Healthcare Club, Leadership for Society Scholar, and Stanford Impact Leader Prize recipient. She holds a BA in applied mathematics and economics from Harvard University.
