Chirantan Chatterjee is a Professor of Development Economics, Innovation and Global Health at University of Sussex. He is also a Visiting Professor at Max Planck Institute of Innovation and Competition (MIPLC) and U-Utah, as well as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, UK.
Chatterjee’s research interests are in economics of innovation, applied microeconomics, pharmaceutical economics, and global health. He has been published in top peer-reviewed journals such as Management Science, The RAND Journal of Economics, Journal of Development Economics, Research Policy, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Social Science & Medicine, Strategy Science, Journal of Health Economics, Psychology of Women Quarterly and Journal of Law & Economics among other international journals.
