Chris Idelson, Ph.D., is a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at ClearCam, a MedTech startup that develops technologies to improve visualization during minimally invasive surgery. He oversees engineering, research and development, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory affairs. He earned a B.E. in Biomedical Engineering from The Catholic University of America and completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Idelson is an innovator and entrepreneur, an inventor on 20+ patents, and author on 30+ scientific and medical manuscripts and abstracts. He is an avid alum and supporter of MedTech Innovator, NSF I-Corps, and many other programs in the broader medtech and entrepreneurial community.
