Ekta Jagtiani is an MS Candidate in the Materials Science and Engineering Department at the University of Pennsylvania. She holds a Bachelor’s in Technology (BTech) in Chemical Engineering from The Institute of Chemical Technology in India. She has completed research in soft matter-hydrogels, antimicrobial emulsions, and nanofibers for biomedical devices, augmenting her curiosity to formulate micro and nano-engineered technologies. She aims to enhance human health by formulating materials and manufactured systems for drug delivery, diagnostics, and pharmaceutical formulations.
